Thanks Yeh-yeh and Ngin-Ngin

We had a wonderful visit with Baby Gabe’s Yeh-yeh and Ngin-Ngin. They had the exhausting task of keeping up with him, which is not easy considering he spends most of his time in day care playing with an assortment of toys and crawling around chasing after the older kids. Ngin-Ngin remarked how we’ll need one of those kiddie leashes when he starts walking. Hopefully, it won’t come to that, and we’ll be able to shepherd him around safely in public. Next week Baby Gabe gets to see his A-ma, A-gong, and A-gu. He can’t wait!

Off the grid
Posted in grandparents | No Comments »It feels liberating to go on a vacation and have no reasonable access to the internet. But we’re back now with lots of new photos and some videos. Baby Gabe made the 5.5 hour trip to Hawaii to visit his Yeh-Yeh and Ngin-Ngin and have an early 6-month birthday party so he could meet all his paternal relatives. Except for the heat and humidity, it seemed like he had a blast. More photos to come.

Which one is the baby?
Posted in grandparents, videos | No Comments »This is a great little video of Baby Gabe with his A-ma. But the best parts are when he realizes he’s being recorded. His expressions at those times are priceless.

We were fortunate to have grandparents in town to help out for much of April. We’ve heard horror stories about visiting grandparents, but no such worries here. They shopped, cooked, washed dishes, cleaned house, ran errands, let us sleep in, and took great care of Baby Gabe when we needed a break. Thanks, A-gong and A-ma!
